Lighting and Placement

• Keep light levels low to moderate (6–8 hours daily).

• High lighting triggers stubborn algae growth on its slow-growing leaves.

• Place it in the foreground or midground of the tank, or shade it under taller hardscape features. 

Planting and Anchoring

• Do not bury the central rhizome stem under gravel or sand.

• Attach it to driftwood or rocks using cotton thread, fishing line, or aquarium-safe super glue.

• Allow roots to grab onto the hard surface naturally.
